Consumption was lowest for all age groups in the Scandinavian countries (except Norway), the Baltic states, Greece and Ukraine, where less than 20% reported drinking soft drinks daily. More boys than girls drank soft drinks every day in most countries and regions and across all age groups. Almost one third of 11, 13 and 15 year-olds ate sweets or chocolates once or more every day, and a similar proportion (29%) consumed such foods once a week or less. Young people reported eating sweets less frequently in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
